Who we are
This policy is provided by the Saifo / 晒否 developer (an individual developer). saifo is an iPhone UV decision aid with no accounts.
Information we collect
saifo gets your location automatically through system Location Services and rounds coordinates to two decimal places for each request. Requests contain no place names or account information. The app does not use background location; widget location access is managed by the system and your permissions.
Why we use it
Location is used only to look up the current UV index and the next six hours of forecast, and to label retrieval time and freshness on this device. It is not used for advertising, analytics or tracking.
Where data goes
Requests go directly to QWeather first. If the direct connection is unavailable or fails, they go through the saifo Cloudflare Worker to query QWeather. QWeather is a third-party recipient. The Worker does not persist or cache coordinates and queries QWeather once per request.
On-device storage
The device stores the latest successful reading and forecast, including location and retrieval time, for labelled offline display. The current reading, forecast cache and language preference are shared with widgets through an App Group. The monthly album stores the highest valid current UV you viewed in the app that day, without coordinates. Language and appearance choices stay on this device.
What we do not do
saifo has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not build a history of your journeys.
Optional feedback and sharing
Feedback is emailed to yukiniro@hotmail.com only when you choose to send it. Drafts include app and iOS versions, not location or UV data. Images you choose to share include the city, district and UV shown in the preview; review them before sharing.
Purchases
Annual and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. saifo does not create an account or store payment card numbers.
Retention and deletion
Local caches, preferences and the album are removed when you delete the app. You can revoke location access for the app and widgets in iOS Settings; after that, saifo cannot look up local UV.
Your choices
You can manage location permission in system settings, delete the app to remove on-device data, or contact the developer using the email below.
Changes
If how we handle information changes, we will update this page.
